Come and See (Russian: Иди и смотри, Idi i smotri; Belarusian: Ідзі і глядзі, Idzi i hliadzi) is a 1985 Soviet anti-war film. The story tells the story of a young boy who initially had a frivolous dream that he would join the army and fight against the Nazi Party. However, after experiencing endless hells, the boy's mind completely collapsed.

I first saw this film in a film scoring class in university. I was planned to eat something after I watch the movie. After watching the movie, I don't think I want to eat for the rest of the day.
This is the most depressing movie I've ever seen. Just like the title of the movie "Come and See", you have to watch this movie yourself and witness the despair and psychological depression caused by war, and then you will deeply understand that war is a very bad thing.
I still remember being completely immersed in the atmosphere of having no escape and everything being destroyed.
